Corporate requirements essentially means the needs of those working in an office under one roof. The requirement of water in such a place would depend on several factors. This would indicate what size water cans are suitable. Whether a 10 litre water can is suitable or something bigger is needed.
The first factor is the number of people in the organisation. Each person has an average daily requirement of water when in office, assuming an 8 hour working time. Usually, the water from the cans is used for drinking. The next factor is what else is the water used for. Is it, for example for making tea and coffee too? This alters the calculation a shade. Depending on how many times a day tea and coffee is served should be factored into the calculation, to see whether a 10 litre water can is enough for the needs of the office. Then there is the factor of alternative sources of water, such as from the tap, which may be used for the tea and coffees aspect. This saves the water from the can. Of course, there are other aspects. For example, how many people are present every day. How many visitors enter the office each day. The number of people have a direct effect on the requirement for water. Once a 10 litre water can is used, it is easy to see what is the daily requirement. Since water cans can be replaced quickly, there is no reason to worry. Different people need water in different quantities. Therefore a uniform quantity of water is not used by each member in the office. Some drink a lot of water, and some do not. There are those who bring water from their homes. All these factors need to be factored in. The best way is to install a 10 litre water can and start using it. The moment it runs out or is about to run out should be enough to show how much water is required. The advantage of a 10 litre water can is that it is easy to handle and use. Since these cans are used via a dispenser, they need to be placed on the dispenser. In any office, generally, the peons do this work. However, having a more readily handled can is easy on everyone. Besides, the 10 litre water can is easily replenished. A call to the distributor is enough. An extra can is always recommended. It must also be kept in mind that storing the water cans needs space, and that means giving up space in the pantry or any other place. Real estate is what it is; any loss of space means a loss. Larger cans are more difficult to handle and may mean larger storage spaces. But careful factoring in of all the aspects should give a clear picture of the requirements. Then there is another matter which needs to be considered. That is apart from consuming the water, is it used for any other purpose. Normally it is not. But it must be checked to see if this is in any way the case. Some people may fill up water from the office to drink on their way home. This is an additional requirement that may increase the requirement of water. However, a 10 litre water can is generally sufficient for a small office. Several 10 litre water cans distributed over the office space might be the answer for larger offices. This would prevent people from wandering all over the office looking for water.
